Hi, I am Alan Lawrence and I have developed this simple app. I have created Insert User and Date primarily as a learning exercise for creating an add-on app for Google Docs™. 

I live in the UK and do a little bit of coding for both fun and learning purposes. I use Google Docs™ pretty much every day either at work or at home hence being interested in creating add-ons to automate repetitive tasks.

I am a keen cyclist and DIYer hence the logo ;-)
